Jordan Rubin Shares His Passion for Music

Music has always been a huge part of my life. Music can reach people when nothing else can. During my illness, when I couldn't sleep at night, I would listen to Steven Curtis Chapman's, "Hiding Place," over and over. When I heard a song that worship leader and singer/song writer, Michael Neale had written for a girl who had special needs, I had an idea. I spoke with Michael and asked if he could help me write a song about my faith in God's plan for my life, centered around Hebrews 11:1.

Faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen.

The song would be called, "Faith is a Place."

Not only did Michael do a great job with the arrangement, he took my idea and some lyrics I had written and fashioned this song. Michael also put a team together to shoot the music video you're about to see. While shooting in Ensenada, Mexico, and Borego Springs, Dana Point and La Jolla, CA and finishing up in Lake Worth and Palm Beach, FL, was an amazing experience, in the years since, seeing the video played at churches and conferences around the world inspiring many to trust God with their greatest challenges, has been a true blessing. As you watch, "Faith is a Place," I pray that God will turn your tragedy to triumph as you see your life through His eyes and your circumstances through the eyes of faith.
